Challenge: SDTM Abidjan experienced high ECI rejection and leaking cans on its 35,000 cpH line.
Solution: Support included finetuning of ECI to eliminate false rejection, reducing sensitivity, adjusting the air knife for residual water droplets, opening the wrapping for air circulation, and recommending the installation of a warmer/pasteurizer.
Result: Rejection rates were reduced, can leakages have minimised, and recommendations were provided for longer-term process stability.
