Challenge: BB Lomé needed to convert its 25,000 cpH line from B64 lids to CDL/ISE. The change was critical for compatibility with new packaging, but posed challenges such as equipment wear, lid handling issues, and risk of can damages.
Solution: Technical support included servicing lifters, replacing toolings and damaged bearings, configuring and calibrating the seam analyser, setting up the lid feeding unit, installing filling valves, and adjusting transport elements for smooth operations.
Result: The conversion was successfully completed, enabling the line to run CDL/ISE lids reliably, reducing can damages, and improving long-term production flexibility.
