Challenge: NB PLC needed to commission two new high-speed lines (63,000 cpH). Early runs showed difficulties with lightweight GZI cans, leading to rejections and inefficiencies.
Solution: GZI engineers fine-tuned the line to accommodate lightweight cans, adjustment of VTU and ECI, seamer calibration, CSW setting, and training for quality, operations, and forklift teams.
Result: The lines now run smoothly with lightweight and sleek cans, enabling higher efficiency and consistent performance.
