Recycling School Rewards

GZI realizes that sustaining our environment requires a “can-do” attitude, as was demonstrated by support and appreciation shown to the schools participating in the 2017 Used Aaluminium Beverage Cans recycling Scheme. The school authorities in conjunction with GZI motivate the students to supply aluminium cans that correspond to the value of the schools’ specific priority projects. Additional support is given from GZI recycling team in order for the participating schools to achieve their goals. Then the next is fun and celebration galore!

To recognize the efforts of the schools that partnered with GZI in collecting used aluminum cans, the following schools were presented with support items:Odofa

1. Odofa Secondary and Primary Schools, Agbara: chairs and lockers for students’ classrooms. The school Principal of Odofa Schools receiving the 1st batch of priority project items (Chairs and Lockers) presented by the representative of GZI management team:

Almost all of the staff and students of the participating schools have elected to incorporate UABC recycling as a year round activity and we encourage other schools to follow their lead in creating a sustainable future. If you wish to have your schools registered for this scheme, kindly contact the
